Shampoo bars present another exciting opportunity to eliminate a plastic bottle from that shower shelf. And they're super convenient for travel. I chose a lush blend of oils for this bar to nourish both hair and scalp.
The effectiveness of shampoo bars depends on many factors, such as the hardness of your water or your hair type. But considering the potential to replace a waste producing product from your home, why not try. If unsuccessful for you as shampoo, the bar will still make a great bar of soap for hands and body.
For best results, lather the soap in your hands and apply the lather to your hair and scalp. Rinse the shampoo from your hair thoroughly and then rinse it again! Since natural shampoo bars are slightly basic on the pH scale, some find it beneficial to rinse with a vinegar (try 1 cup apple cider vinegar + 2 cups water) or citric acid (try 1 tablespoon citric acid + 3 cups water) solution to restore pH neutrality.
Each bar weighs approximately 4.2 ounces. Bars sold separately. A vegan offering.
Handmade with distilled water, organic coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, sodium hydroxide, avocado oil, sunflower oil, RSPO certified palm oil, organic jojoba oil, essential oils, organic cane sugar and sea salt.
Please note that there may be slight variations in size, color, or shape due to the handmade nature of this product.
